Cappadocia‘s Whirling Dervishes are world-renowned for their unique twirling rituals, an ancient spiritual practice of the Sufi religion. With this tour, attend a traditional Sema ceremony at a historic caravanserai and watch the sacred ritual for yourself. Your English-speaking guide will be there throughout the 1-hour ceremony to explain the traditions, and you’ll also have the opportunity to try ‘Serbet’, a sweet cordial drink enjoyed by the Sufis.

What To Expect

1- Dervis Evi Whirling Dervishes The whole ceremony takes around one hour and we offer 'Serbet', a religious drink, after the ceremony. Our van picks you up from your hotel in Goreme or other towns of Cappadocia half an hour earlier, which will give you enough time to see the parts of the caravanserai prior to ceremony.

Cancellation Policy

• You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

• For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.

• If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

• Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.

• Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

• This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.
